Floodwall, embankment, and natural ground line segments were originally converted from AutoCAD drawing files developed from field survey of river centerline stationing and cross-sections used for the HEC-RAS hydraulic model of the Grand River. Field survey of the river cross-sections occured between 2006 and 2009 (FTC&H Project No. F94222 and G120330) Survey and drawing files are recorded in Michigan SPCS, South Zone, International Feet, and NGVD 1988. Flood protection segments were modified based on record drawings, parcel data, field investigation data, and high resolution aerial photography (Kent County/USGS imagery 2009.) Attribute data includes structural type of protection, age, ownership, flood elevations and links to descriptive supporting documents. Flood elevations correspond to the FEMA Flood Hazard Areas (100 Year Floodplain developed from the September 2010 HEC-RAS model.) Supporting documents may include photographs, record drawings and cross section sketches.", "summary": "", "title": "Floodwall", "tags": [], "type": "", "typeKeywords": [], "thumbnail": "", "url": "", "minScale": 0, "maxScale": 0, "spatialReference": "", "accessInformation": "Dataset was originally created in 2014 by Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber, Inc.
